Light Bursts is a monochrome study of light created by shreds of discarded magazines. Three bright explosions of light illuminate the collage put together to appear as if each torn piece of magazine is a brush stroke. From afar the collage appears as a painting. The illusion of depth is also depicted with carefully laid, segmented pieces. The piece takes on an urban affect as brick texture and graffiti can be spotted throughout.  
The light appears to be bursting through buildings, concrete and brick bringing a feeling of hope through rubble. 
The piece comes is surrounded and comes with a black frame enclosed in glass.
